Build/Physique: Slender and willowy, Sara moves effortlessly through the
forest, easily able to
dodge between and under tree branches and bushes. She has no excess
flesh, and is not very “well endowed,” having a very girlish look. She
is very strong for her size, but she is thin and wiry rather than buff
(if such a word can be used to describe a female).
Equipment/Weapons: Magical cloak. The outside of the cloak is of a soft
grey cloth, giving no hint of the power within. The inside of the cloak
was woven in the light of a magical sphere, and is a mirror of the
mind. The true contents of a person’s mind are visible to both the one
gazing, and the one wearing the cloak. The person wearing the cloak
cannot be deceived by any illusion.
Powers and Abilities/Explanation: Sara is able to communicate with the
animals through her understanding of their body language, and sometimes
telepathy (particularly with magical animals such as unicorns). She has
a beautiful voice, which is capable of calming wild beasts and bringing
an atmosphere of peace. The music flows naturally from her, without
thought. She has no quarrel with any beast, and seeks to bring harmony
to everything surrounding her.
History: Sara is the daughter of an elf-maid and a human man. She is on
a quest to find a magical sphere that was stolen and hidden away many
years ago. She was raised by her mother in the forest outside of her
mother’s elf-village. She has never met her father, and does not yet
know his identity.
Partially due to her elfish background, and partially due to her
personality, she communes very closely with nature, and can understand
and talk with animals. She is a vegetarian (she will drink milk or eat honey
so
long as the animal gives it to her freely, but will not eat eggs). Sara
cannot kill any living thing. She is a natural
peacemaker, and uses her voice to try to bring peace.
Major weaknesses: She is helpless to defend herself in the presence of
creatures that are truly wicked, except through revealing truth. Even
then, she must be careful, because if she allows any wicked thing to
look long into the interior of her cloak, she will be destroyed.
